Brother Andrew Lawson, C.Ss.R. died Wednesday morning, July 7, 2010 from a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 74 years old.

Brother Andy was born in New Orleans and made his final vows on February 2, 1961. Brother Andy was famous for his loving dedication to the candles inside St. Mary of the Assumption Church.

The funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, located at 2030 Constance Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Burial will follow immediately at the Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana.
