Candidates for the Redemptorist Way of Life should:

• Have a great love for Jesus Christ and a willing desire to serve Him, especially among the least of His brothers and sisters.
• Be a practicing Catholic.
• Be between the ages of 18 to 47.
• Be single, with the desire and ability to live a vowed chaste life.
• Want to live, pray and work in community.
• Be debt free and be open to live a life of vowed poverty.

Candidates will be responsible for:

• Preaching the Gospel explicitly and of showing solidarity with the poor by promoting their fundamental rights to justice and freedom.
• Responding with missionary zeal to the pressing pastoral needs of the most abandoned, especially the poor.
• Devoting oneself entirely to a New Evangelization.
• Giving witness to the hope that is them.
• Following Christ the Redeemer with hearts full of joy; denying themselves and always ready to undertake what is demanding.
• Sharing in the mystery of Christ and proclaiming it in Gospel simplicity of life and language, which they may bring to people for plentiful redemption.
