Redemptorist brothers & priests
Candidates for the Redemptorist Way of Life should:
- Have a great love for Jesus Christ and a willing desire to serve Him, especially among the least of His brothers and sisters.
- Be a practicing Catholic.
- Be between the ages of 18 to 47.
- Be single, with the desire and ability to live a vowed chaste life.
- Want to live, pray and work in community.
- Be debt free and be open to live a life of vowed poverty.
Candidates will be responsible for:
- Preaching the Gospel explicitly and of showing solidarity with the poor by promoting their fundamental rights to justice and freedom.
- Responding with missionary zeal to the pressing pastoral needs of the most abandoned, especially the poor.
- Devoting oneself entirely to a New Evangelization.
- Giving witness to the hope that is them.
- Following Christ the Redeemer with hearts full of joy; denying themselves and always ready to undertake what is demanding.
- Sharing in the mystery of Christ and proclaiming it in Gospel simplicity of life and language, which they may bring to people for plentiful redemption.
