Vietnamese Multicultural Ministry
Vicki Thompson, a consultant from Irving, Texas, has assembled a stunning visual catalog of her recent trip to Sapa, Vietnam. Her stories and pictures capture the beauty and the heartache of these simple people struggling to put their lives together, in this Eden-like setting, with help from Fr. Nghia Cao, a Redemptorist priest. Fr. Cao has opened a sewing shop in the village to help the local women learn the trade so that they can generate some income to support their families.
If you would like to help support the work of Fr. Nghia and his work in Sapa, click on the Donate Now button and type in Sapa Mission in the Other (specify mission) box under Donation Intended For.
Read her moving account and experience the visual beauty of these people and their surroundings.
