Foreign Missions

 Redemptorist missionaries serve the poor and most abandoned in some of the poorest and most remote places on the globe. They will go where others will not. Places where people have not seen a priest for months at a time. This is in keeping with the Gospel message and the original instruction set forth by St. Alphonsus: to preach the Gospel throughout the world to the poorest of the poor. Today, Redemptorists with the Denver Province work with and live among the poor in the Amazon rain forest of Brazil, the slums of Bangkok, Thailand, and the dangerous streets and neighborhoods of Lagos, Nigeria.
