Parishes

Generally, Redemptorists run parishes where the local diocese is unable to provide adequate pastoral care due to a shortage of priests. They also tend to staff parishes in poorer sections of a diocese. Besides parish work, Redemptorists will also provide spiritual counseling, conduct liturgical and sacramental celebrations, and visit with the sick, the dying and the displaced.
